My bead journey began in 2011 when I talked my sister into taking a class with me at a local Michael’s store to string beads onto memory wire.  We both did stringing for a while but she figured it was easier for me to make the jewelry for both of us.

Seeing all of the beautiful designs available, I began watching YouTube and took classes to learn various stitches with seed beads.  I ventured into chain mail for a while when I purchased a book with the patterns.

It wasn’t until I moved to Florida in 2015 where I was introduced to bead embroidery.  I took classes from a number of wonderful instructors and that is where I found my happy place.  I like the freedom bead embroidery allows one to create unique art.

I teach groups locally and had the privilege to teach at the Orlando Bead Retreat previously.
